How to Opt-In to Elph Parking Reminders

Users explicitly opt-in to receive SMS reminders from Elph through one of these methods:

  1. QR Code Scanning: Scan a QR code on a parking meter, which opens your SMS app with a pre-filled message
  2. Direct Text: Text "Remind me" or similar keywords to (775) 535-7474

Consent Process

When you initiate contact with Elph, you'll receive our opt-in message:

👋 Hey! I'm Elph. I'll remind you about your parking! When should I ping you? Reply with minutes (e.g., 30). Text STOP anytime to unsubscribe.

By responding with a time duration, you confirm your consent to receive parking reminder messages for that specific parking session.

What You're Agreeing To

  • Receive SMS reminders about your parking meter expiration
  • Choose your reminder frequency (once, persistent, or escalating)
  • Standard message and data rates may apply
  • Messages are session-based and end when you confirm task completion

Message Frequency

You control how often we message you:

  • Option 1: Just one reminder
  • Option 2: Reminders every 10 minutes until you reply
  • Option 3: Escalating reminders with a phone call after 30 minutes

Your Privacy Rights

  • We only use your phone number for parking reminders
  • No marketing messages will be sent
  • Your information is never sold or shared
  • Each reminder session is independent

How to Opt-Out

You can unsubscribe at any time by texting STOP to (775) 535-7474.

You'll receive confirmation: "No worries! You're unsubscribed. Text START anytime to use Elph again."
